The draft (non-proofread) Book of Abstracts is now available. This early version is intended to help participants explore the range of sessions and begin planning which presentations they\u2019d like to attend.

We encourage you to take a moment to review the updates and start mapping out the sessions and activities you don\u2019t want to miss. For presenters! Please review your abstract carefully. If you notice any necessary changes, kindly let us know so that we can incorporate them into the final version of the Book of Abstracts. Presentation formats are established beforehand due to organizational limitations. You can find details about the formats below.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    \r\n
  • Paper presentation (30 min.)<\/span> –<\/strong>\u00a0During these sessions, presenters will have 20 minutes to introduce the content of their paper followed by 10 minutes of discussion or response to questions. The focus of the presentations may vary, for example, research or practice.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  • Symposium (90 min.)<\/span> –\u00a0<\/strong>The sessions consist of 2-4 presentations that follow the guidelines for paper presentations with a total duration of ninety minutes. The symposium submitter is responsible for assembling the presenters of the proposed symposium. Like paper presentations, the focus of the symposium <\/span>may vary, for example, research or practice.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  • Panel Discussion<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0(90 min.)<\/span> <\/strong>–\u00a0\u00a0Structured conversation where multiple experts discuss a specific topic, usually moderated by a facilitator. Panelists share their perspectives, respond to questions, and engage in interactive dialogue rather than giving formal presentations. This format should encourage diverse viewpoints, debate, and audience participation, making it an effective way to explore complex issues.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  • Workshop (45 min. or 90 min.)<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0–\u00a0The 45 or 90-minute sessions provide interactive opportunities for conference participants to work together on a topic according to the guidelines of the workshop organizer. Like paper presentations, the focus of the workshops may vary, for example, research or practice.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  • “Floor is yours”(2 min.)\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0– Participants will be given the floor to briefly present their ideas in a plenary before the longer 45-minute session. A specific spot within the meeting venue will be dedicated to each presentation.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  • Poster session<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0–\u00a0The poster stands will be placed in one gallery hall, and participants can move freely from one poster stand to another.
